WHAT IS ACP?

The Affordable Connectivity Program is a Federal Communications Commission benefit program that helps ensure that households can afford the broadband they need for work, school, healthcare, and more. Eligibility for the Affordable Connectivity Program requires a household income at or below 200% of the Federal Low Income Guidelines or meeting at least one of the following criteria:
 

  • Receipt of a Federal Pell Grant in the current award year.

  • Qualification for a participating provider's low-income internet program.

  • Participation in federal assistance programs such as SNAP, Medicaid, Federal Housing Assistance, SSI, WIC, Veterans Pension or Survivor Benefits, Lifeline, or specific programs for residents on qualifying Tribal lands.
